SUMMARY:Invisible Rivers: Annie Bloch
DESCRIPTION:In partnership with Publik Secrets Watch the pipe organ come to
life under the control of organist and improviser Annie Bloch.\n\n\n\n\nAn
nie Bloch is an organist\, composer and songwriter based in Cologne\, Germa
ny. As an organist she performs solo and in alternating constellations with
an improvisational and situational approach. The reality that every pipe o
rgan as well as the space it speaks in is unique\, is something she not onl
y adapts to\, but actively works with. The resulting composed improvisation
s explore states of change. Her pieces focus on the in-between-spaces\, tha
t are already leaning towards the next event. Searching for the ambivalence
s in a sound and lingering on them\, her music resists singular truths. The
musical material she draws from is informed by her engagement with the exp
erimental music scene\, but also by compositional styles of pop and ambient
music.\nRead more about Annie Bloch: https://anniebloch.com/\nDetails:Satu
