DESCRIPTION:Fiesta Guatemala is a fundraiser to raise money for a playground at the school in Guatemala that we (along with Lynn Valley and Highlands United Churches supported being built).  We will have appetizers, music, and a silent auction, along with folx to speak about the school and the hopes and the plans for a playground.\nTickets online are closed but you can get tickets at the door\nGeneral Admission $80\nReduced rate $40\nChildren under 5 are free\nYour ticket includes an appetizer buffet, a drink ticket, a silent auction for you to bid on of Guatemala art and other treasures, storytelling about Guatemala and music! For your $80 ticket cost you will receive a $50 tax receipt. All proceeds benefit the continued support of the little school in the village of Chwitiziribal, Guatemala and will be administered by St. Andrew’s Wesley United Church.\nSchedule for the evening:\n6:00-6:30 pm Door open, Silent Auction, Food & Drink\n6:30-7:00 pm Stories from Guatemala\n7:00-7:15 pm Silent Auction, Food & Drink\n7:15-8:00 pm Entertainment\n8:00-8:30 pm Final Auction Time and close to Auction at 8:30 pm\n8:30-9:00 pm Singalong and checkout of Auction items\n \n
