Her style is a vibrant blend of classic swing, urban contemporary grooves, and East Asian–inspired melodies, reflecting the diverse influences she has absorbed along the way. For this performance, Clara joins forces with two of her favorite collaborators—bassist Emilio Suárez and drummer Karl DeJong—to present a night of soulful, joyful, and swinging music in tribute to Canadian jazz legend Oscar Peterson, described by CBC Music as “more than a jazz icon.
