Join Minister of Jazz Ministries, Pastor Ben, along with Karis Dimas-Lehndorf from the Candlelit Contemplative community, for A Jazz Taizé Service on Sunday, August 17th, at 4pm. Pastor Ben (clarinet, baritone saxophone) has arranged seven of St. Andrew’s-Wesley’s favourite Taizé chants into various jazz stylings. Ben will be joined by an all-star ensemble of classical musicians (Gloria Wan, Rebecca Collett, Tabitha Brasso-Ernst, vocals; Angelique Po, concert organ) and jazz musicians (Sharon Minemoto, piano; Michael Wagler, double bass; Kate Johnson, drums) to offer an unforgettable, experimental service of worship.
