Description of the talk:
There is an undeniable link between our thoughts and our biology. Dr. Pawa scientifically explains the profound connection by de-coding the nervous system which was designed by nature to default to “fight-flight” reactions. so could survive as a species. However, in today’s world 75% of the symptoms we present to the doctor office can be attributed to the excessive hormone of stress which we mainly treat with medications. Prescriptions for sleeping pills, antidepressants, and painkillers have reached unprecedented proportions thus it is imperative that we learn evidence-based tools for self-care. The inextricable link between stress hormones and quality of life including an impaired immune system will be explored. The group will be provided with techniques to re-set the nervous system and restore balance in the body so they can reclaim and optimize their mental, physical and spiritual health.
