Death Cafe with Anneke Rees
The second Monday of the month at 7pm.

At a Death Cafe, people gather to eat cake, drink tea or coffee and discuss death. In our death denying culture this is an opportunity to increase our awareness of death with the objective of enhancing our finite lives. The subject of death is a broad topic, and this lightly facilitated gathering- with Death Cafe host Anneke Rees-is an opportunity to look at death for what it is- a part of living.

The topic for the Death Cafe this month will be how and where would you like to be buried?
We will talk about “Green Burial” and traditional burials such as caskets and urns; cremation and embalming.
We will also talk about the fact that it is hard to find a final resting place these days. Cemeteries are full and plots are scarce.
