Sunday, November 14th, 7:00 – 8:15 PM
You are cordially invited to attend a Grand Opening Event
St. Andrew’s Wesley Sanctuary

The evening will allow us not only to give thanks for the completion of our now safe and restored sanctuary, but also to gather together neighbourhood partners and folks from other United Church congregations to recognize the importance of communities of compassion sharing in work for the greater good.

This will be our “coming out party” of sorts, as we step into our vision to be a Centre for Art, Spirit and Social Justice for the city and beyond.

There will be music, and lots of it to include:

  • Our Choir in Residence, Chor Leoni
  • The Orchid Ensemble
  • Jazz singer Candus Churchill and Dave Say on sax
  • Tim Woodford will make the organ sing and we can sing, too (albeit with masks).

Special guests will include: Mayor Kennedy Stewart, Councillor Christine Boyle and an opening procession of guest clergy.

Underground parking is free for this event.

If at all possible, we look forward to seeing you there,
Your Ministry Team

Please note: because this is an event (not a worship service) involving many people, we need to require vaccine passports for the good and safety of all.
