Ragtime Ramblers Dixie Band

The Ragtime Ramblers are favorites at concerts and festivals, country clubs, parades and private events throughout North America.

Led by banjo virtuoso Dave Ivaz, The Ragtime Ramblers blend the best of traditional Dixieland Jazz with outstanding musicianship and a style all their own, including “Dixiefied” rock classics and more!

One of Vancouver’s respected instrumentalists who originally hails from Chicago where he was one of the city’s top session musicians, Dave Ivaz has performed with artists ranging from Martha Reeves & the Vandellas to The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, jazz vocalist Nancy Wilson, the Fifth Dimension, as a “pit” musician in Broadway Shows, and at festivals including The Vancouver International Jazz Festival, Milwaukee Summerfest and Lollapalooza.

Dave’s Dixieland expertise spans Broadway musicals to festivals, performances with The Stars of Lawrence Welk and numerous recordings. Dave designed the 1990’s in-house Dixieland program for Chicago’s fabled Navy Pier, was a member of the famous Chicago Cubs Band at Chicago’s Wrigley Field and is proud to be working with the Vancouver Canadians baseball team here in BC. Dave and The Ragtime Ramblers delight crowds at concerts and parades throughout North America.

From a duo to the full ensemble, let Ragtime Ramblers take you down to New Orleans!
