Born and raised in Vancouver, 21-year-old Henry Hoffman’s love for jazz was born during family road trips, where the car stereo served as his introduction to Miles Davis, Freddie Hubbard, and countless other jazz greats. He has always held a passion for creativity and found an outlet in high school writing and producing soundtrack music, and found a community playing trumpet in Van Tech’s school band program. He met his bandmates at Capilano University’s Jazz Studies program, where they are currently enrolled in their third and fourth years.
