This Sunday it is time to raise our voices in song! Van Van Song Society (known formerly as Woodward’s Community Singers) was for 11-years a drop-in community choir situated in the DTES. For this Sunday Service Vanessa Richards and Martin Riesle will revive their feel-good, all voices welcomed approach to communal singing. The repertoire is simple and profound with songs from ‘round here and over there, back-in-the-day, and now-a-days. The informal and convivial vibe is more campfire than cantata. We celebrate songs that you can carry in your back-pocket. Songs that lift, soothe, stomp. Come be music.
