Jazz Vespers Feb 17

*LOCATION MOVED TO THE FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH- 969 Burrard St Diane Lines Diane was the pianist/accompanist for Grammy winner Michael Bublé and has also performed with a variety of artists including: Gabriel Mark Hasselbach, Marian McPartland, Beverley Elliott, Dee Daniels, Jim Byrnes, Blues Boss Kenny Wayne, Gospel great John Boutte, Alfie Zappacosta, Bria Skonberg, Linda Tillery, Amanda Wood and Shari Ulrich. Diane was the principal pianist and vocalist with the Dal Richards Orchestra from 2002 to the present.  She performed throughout the United States as keyboardist and vocalist with Mac Frampton’s Hollywood Hills Orchestra. Diane is the musical Director/arranger for the high-spirited Pals Chorus. Diane recorded and toured in Canada with Juno Award winning singer/songwriter Gary Fjellgaard and appears on Gary’s CDs Under Western Skies and The Best of Gary Fjellgaard.  Diane’s work with Fjellgaard earned her consecutive nominations for BCCMA’s Keyboardist of the Year. Theatre credits include her work as musical director of Bittergirl: The Musical for the Charlottetown Festival (2015) Edmonton’s Citadel Theatre (2016) and for the Arts Club Theatre (2017).  Other Arts Club shows include Tapestry: A Tribute to Carole King also starring Denzal Sinclaire and Shari Ulrich and All Grown Up. Since the fall of 2011, Diane and her cast of stellar musicians have been touring with her signature show Diane Lines’ JUMP! A Celebration of Swing, Boogie, and Jump Blues, with performances in Switzerland, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Las Vegas and in various venues, theatres and festivals throughout British Columbia. Diane Lines received her musical education at the Banff School of Fine Arts, the Humber School of Creative and Performing Arts in Toronto, and at Cleo Laine and John Dankworth’s Wavendon Music Program in England. www.dianelines.com

Heartbeat 2019- at Highlands United

HEARTBEAT is a concert celebrating community and diversity through live music. Our mission is to create an opportunity for dialogue, exchange, and to build shared experience between individuals. HEARTBEAT is an event where musicians of different backgrounds will come together and create music that fuses musical genres. This year’s theme is storytelling, so we have added food and conversation tables at the intermission! This concert is at Highlands United- 3255 Edgemont Blvd, North Vancouver Tickets are $10 for Students, Youth and Seniors, $20 for Adults.
