Tim began his musical career as a chorister at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle in the UK where he sang to the Royal Family for many years. He furthered his musical career conducting and performing (piano, organ ,singing) in the UK and abroad in venues including the Vatican, the Royal Albert Hall, the Royal Festival Hall and various cathedrals.
Before arriving here at St. Andrew’s Wesley, Tim held Director of Music positions at schools and various churches in the UK. In 2014 one of his choristers won the prestigious national competition ‘BBC Chorister of the year’. A year later two of his choristers were in the top 5 national finalists.
Tim has performed in the Proms on BBC television and has been interviewed on both ITV and BBC television in the last few years and appeared many times as a conductor and performer.
Tim enjoys performing in a variety of different styles including musical theatre and jazz. He is also a composer and arranger having had works performed on both BBC radio and C.D. He has performed to many celebrities including the Royal Family, Sir David Attenborough, The Archbishop of Canterbury, Sir Bob Geldof.
Tim is a devout Christian and follower of the path of Jesus, having spent his whole life and career in churches and cathedrals. Having recently arrived here at St Andrew’s Wesley, Tim is looking forward to inspiring current and new singers not only from the congregation but across the city.
