Come start off the holiday season with a traditional Christmas sing-a-long! Join us at St.AW with the Little Mountain Brass Band and West End Singers for a night of classic carols, warm memories, and plenty of holiday cheer.  Admission by donation. Hot cocoa served at the door. 

Quiet Christmas Service

Join us for a contemplative service honouring people that have lost loved ones and are experiencing grief. 

Christmas Story Service

Christmas Eve, Dec 24 at 11am

The Christmas story experience for younger children! This all ages gathering features carols and the story of the birth of Jesus as we playfully explore the themes of love, peace and joy!

Jazz Vespers with We Three Queens

Christmas Eve, Dec 24 at 3:00pm

Jazz Christmas featuring three of Vancouver’s finest jazz artists: Jennifer Scott, Karin Plato, and Kate Hammett-Vaughan whose vocal styling freshen up seasonal standards and favorites, mixed with reflections on love, miracles and how we might see our lives transformed this season.

Family Christmas Service

Celebrate the miracle of Christmas with this service featuring featuring music by the Zawadiak family on strings. This uplifting service will remind you of the true gifts of the season. 

Traditional Christmas Service

Christmas Eve, Dec 24 at 11pm

Traditional Christmas service with 
candles and carols. This gorgeous candlelit service creates an awe-filled evening as we sing and share the story of the One who changed the world.

Christmas Day Service

Christmas Day, Dec 25 at 10:30am

Christmas Day service with the Little Mountain Brass Band. Celebrate the miracle of Christmas as we explore this sacred story, sing cherished carols, and remind ourselves of the true gift of the season.

 

Fundraising

Help women and families fleeing domestic violence this Christmas by contributing to the annual Empty Suitcase fund! Each year we support people in need at the Kate Booth House, Vancouver Rape Relief and Helping Spirit Lodge by providing them with gift certificates to buy essential items and Christmas presents during a difficult time.

Dec 5

The West End Children’s Choir wraps up their winter season with fun songs and seasonal cheer! This 15 to 20-minute concert will be in the sanctuary of St. Andrew’s-Wesley United Church at 6:15 PM. Family and friends of the choir are all welcome. This concert is free, but donations to help support our choirs are gratefully accepted. There will be light snacks following the concert.
