Noah Franche-Nolan is a Canadian pianist, improviser, composer, and arranger based in Vancouver BC.   He leads the Noah Franche-Nolan Trio, with Juno-Nominated Jodi Proznick on bass and Nicholas Bracewell on drums, which forms the rhythm section for Indo Jazz Fusion group Raagaverse, led by Shruti Ramani.  In addition to being a performer and bandleader, Franche-Nolan is an active composer, having most recently composed the score to NYC film maker Talha Jalal’s documentary “Rite of Passage” and the music for Vancouver-based playwright Shelby Saitterthwaite’s play Light Rapid Transit.  As a whole, Franche-Nolan strives to explore the blending of sincere emotional connection with musical intricacy in his work.
