Big Shoulders is a Vancouver based Modern Jazz Quartet. We celebrate the music of the jazz master composers and present their music in our own style, often modernizing and moving the music forward. Our repertoire includes music by Miles Davis, Wayne Shorter, John Coltrane, Charles Mingus, Charlie Hayden, Herbie Hancock and Thelonius Monk and many more. We are forever indebted to them for the music they have composed and to the many artists who keep this music alive.
