The Leora Cashe Quartet will bring an explosion of swinging sounds and plenty of soulful good vibes to Jazz Vespers this Easter Sunday April 9th. Leora’s rich resounding voice reaches deep into the heart of the listener with an emotional range and energy that few artists can match. Influenced by gospel, blues and jazz, Leora’s passionate vocal interpretations have garnered accolades from her home town of Vancouver to the US, Italy, Belgium and the UK.
In Vancouver her vocal prowess has been featured at Motown Meltdown, World Kindness Concert, Frankie’s Jazz Club, Vancouver International Jazz Fest and she has been the featured soloist with The Universal Gospel Choir, The Gospel Experience and The Vancouver Men’s Chorus.
Cashe’s stellar band features the masterful arrangements and accompaniment of pianist Jaye Krebs, along with fellow swing meisters Brent Gubbles on bass, Phil Belanger on drums and with special guest Jamie Croil on trumpet. The Leora Cashe Quartet is set to excite the Jazz Vesper audience with their fresh creative arrangements and songs that will uplift your heart into spring with swingin’ good vibes!
