The Nelson Boschman Trio have been playing jazz throughout Greater Vancouver since 1997. They met through the Jazz Studies Program at Capilano College in North Vancouver. The group’s creative, interactive style is influenced by the piano trios led by Bill Evans, Keith Jarrett and Brad Mehldau, and appeals to a wide audience. The Trio has released two recordings to date, entitled Keeping Time: Sounding the Liturgical Year Through Jazz, Volume One (2004), and Keeping Time, Volume Two (2007).
