SpiritPride is an LGBTQ2A+ affirming event that gathers communities who want to celebrate, share and find a place to explore spirituality and LGBTQ2A+ Identity. This annual conference, now in it’s 6th year, is an important place of healing for many who have been told they can’t reconcile their faith or spirituality and affirm their gender and sexual identity too.
Join Thomas Oord for an evening lecture. Could a loving God abandon us? Or permit evil? Does God actually like us? And what might our love look like amid violence, worry, crisis, political dissension, climate change, and more? Thomas Jay Oord answers these questions as he explores what it means to imitate a loving God (Eph. 5:1). Free Public Lecture July 14th, 2022, at 7pm

Our Place
In the World
St. Andrew’s-Wesley respectfully acknowledges that we gather on the unceded lands of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. For thousands of years, First Nations people have walked on this land and their relationship with the land is at the centre of their lives and spirituality. As a church, and settlers on these shores, we have a life-long responsibility to unlearn our misunderstandings of history, territory, and identity through critical reflection, acknowledgement, and listening.
