There are about 6 passages in the Bible that have historically been used to supposedly prove that homosexuality is a sin and an abomination to God. These are commonly called the Clobber Passages as they have been used to clobber and harm the lives of 2SLGBTQ+ people. But what do these verses really say – or don’t say – about our sexuality as 2SLGBTQ+ people? Starting on Jan 23 and continuing for a total of 4 sessions, we’ll dive into those passages and learn such things as why Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed, the nature of the Levitical law and its purpose, and what Paul was actually talking about in Romans, I Corinthians, and I Timothy.
