Karis Dimas-Lehndorf is the LGBTQ facilitator for women-identified folks at St. Andrew’s-Wesley United. In this role, she wishes to help make and keep community possible, especially for marginalized people who have not traditionally had spaces in the church. She is a feminist and literary scholar, and has recently completed an MA in English at UBCO. She has experience in children’s programming in church settings and planning interdisciplinary conferences. For the past two years, she has hosted a multi-genre, bi-weekly digital book club. Her personal passion for justice-seeking and community-building is rooted in her understanding of loving and caring for our neighbours.
