The Chapel

The Chapel at St. Andrew’s-Wesley is a live music and pop-up art venue in Vancouver’s West End. We host talented local and visiting artists who have a unique story and perspective to share with the world.

This intimate, multi-purpose space has a stunning decorated ceiling and stained glass. As the sun shines through the windows, it projects a kaleidoscope of colour across the parquet floor.

Jonny is a Grammy-nominated keys player and producer based in the west coast of Canada. His original tunes have been transmitted through the underground radio waves all over the world, and his keys have graced hundreds of tracks from independent artists like NYC-based Sarah Kang to breakout hip-hop artist D. Smoke. He’s toured all over the world, and been prolific on and off the stage, playing shows with artists ranging from R&B/gospel powerhouses The Hamiltones to Chinese pop sensation Zizi (子子).

I Am Somebody is the inspiring story about six street-connected children who are chosen to represent their country at the Street Child World Cup in Qatar. Some of them are from the streets of Brazil and Bangladesh, some come from poor families in Pakistan and another is from a refugee camp in Palestine. But there is one thing that all these children have in common: their lives will change forever when they participate in the Street Child World Cup.

Featuring Jerry Desvoignes and Duncan Hogg from The One Voice Harmonic Choir (OVHC), healing sound artist Kate Siddall and Michael Streit on oud.

Join us we cultivate a practice of intentional listening, spiritual interpretation, and articulation of physical sensation that is found in music.
