Brian has studied in Vancouver, Toronto, Banff and New York with with Murray Crewe, Bill Trussell, Dave Robbins, Ian McDougall, Fred Stone, Hugh Fraser, Robin Eubanks, Chucho Valdes and Irakere, Jim Pugh, Todd Coolman, Jon Faddis and Ray Vega.
Brian has toured across Canada, the USA and Europe performing at major Jazz Festivals and Night Clubs with Hugh Fraser and V.E.J.I., People Playing Music, the Jazzmanian Devils, Video Barbecue, Grupo Jazz Tumbao, Rumba Calzada, and Johnny Ferreira and the Swing Machine.
Brian currently performs with The Hard Rubber Orchestra, the Terminal City Brass Band, Homegoing Brass Band, Ian Shaw Nonet, the Ten Souljers, Pendomoja, Timba Cartel, and Treesong among others.
