Big Shoulders is a modern jazz quartet based in Vancouver. Our repertoire is based on music composed and performed by the grand masters of jazz. Their music was also based on the grand masters before them. Jazz music is most often handed down, generation to generation and evolves performance to performance, by those who play a true community effort, of tradition and magical transition.
We all stand on the shoulders of greatness.
