Join us for a day of community and spiritual care on International Women’s Day! It is as essential as ever that we stand for and with all women — trans women, disabled women, queer women, BIWOC, and immigrant women. Women in our city and across the world continue to face systemic, social, and personal violence and oppression every day. This day is a both a celebration of the tireless efforts of determined women throughout history and a reminder that there is still work to be done towards protecting the equality, dignity, and safety of all women. We will gather on the church steps and walk from St.AW to šxʷƛ̓ənəq Xwtl’e7énḵ Square following the morning service. Together with community we will hear powerful speeches from local activists and community leaders. We will then join for the a march across downtown.
