Tess Meckling is a vocalist, composer and pianist residing on the unceded territories of the səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish), and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) First Nations. She is an active performer in the local jazz scene, taking inspiration from the greats such as Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald, spanning to modern day legends Norma Winstone and Cécile McLorin Salvant. Tess is excited to be joined by her friends Bradan DeCicco (guitar), Emilio Suarez (bass) and Andrew Wilson (drums) for a set of original music and select standards from the jazz tradition.
