The Good News Group will welcome Shadia Qubti, a Palestinian Christian, to share her personal story as it relates to the Israel-Palestinian situation. She has worked for 15 years in peacebuilding and advocacy initiatives through local and international organizations.
Shadia focuses on outreach, community building, networking and social justice activities or our faith community. She worked in peace building and advocacy initiatives through local and international organizations in Israel and Palestine for 15 years. As a Palestine Christian, she worked to amplify the voices and perspectives of women and minorities. Her education includes; International Relations and English Language at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Conflict Resolution and Nonviolent Action at Trinity Dublin College, leading up to currently pursuing a degree in Interreligious and Indigenous Studies at the Vancouver School of Theology in Canada.
