Teresa Marie is a Vancouver-based Jazz and R&B vocalist. With a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Studies from Capilano University, she has spent years dedicated to honing her skills as a musician. She is an experienced performer, and has played in several venues around the city such as Water St Cafe, Frankie’s Jazz Club, and the Shadbolt Centre of the Arts. With over 63 gigs in 2023 alone, Teresa is one of the most hired vocalists in the city. Teresa takes inspiration from a variety of iconic musicians like Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin, and Etta James, and is passionate about learning from and listening to a wide range of genres. You can typically find her singing her favorite Jazz standards and Pop covers around the city, as well as performing her original music with her band “Best Lunch”.
