“West Coast Big Band is a special band for me. Before my mentor Fred Stride ran his Fred Stride Jazz Orchestra, he used to run an ensemble called ‘West Coast Jazz Orchestra’. He passed down the name to me, although I’ve decided to go with Big Band rather than Jazz Orchestra, and I’ve been running it since 2015. It is made up of amazing musicians that LOVE big band music. We are all so excited to share our music and passion with you.” ~Michael Kim
