How does God feel about Queer People? We asked ministers from denominations all over Canada to find out. Here’s what they said: God loves Queer People.
On our annual Orange t-shirt Sunday, we are honoured to have with us James Groening, or Blue Sky, a Burnaby-based Cree artist from Kahkewistahaw Band, Turtle Island. He will be sharing his story and offering a free art workshop for all ages after worship.
This monthly all ages swing dance event is open to all and features a free lesson. Live music and great people, join Ben for one Friday of friendship and fun. Want to volunteer? We have a role for you!
Our Place
In the World
St. Andrew’s-Wesley respectfully acknowledges that we gather on the unceded lands of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. For thousands of years, First Nations people have walked on this land and their relationship with the land is at the centre of their lives and spirituality. As a church, and settlers on these shores, we have a life-long responsibility to unlearn our misunderstandings of history, territory, and identity through critical reflection, acknowledgement, and listening.
