Rebecca Collett is a singer and music educator with over 20 years of teaching experience. Rebecca made her professional singing debut at age six on Sesame Street Canada. Since then, Rebecca has sung with choirs and orchestras throughout Ontario and British Columbia, including the Canadian Opera Company Chorus and the Vancouver Opera Chorus.
Rebecca has served as an itinerant music teacher in the York Region Board of Education in Ontario, has led a women’s choir, and has conducted a children’s choir at Eglinton-St. George’s United Church in Toronto. Rebecca has also taught countless children and adults to love music through private piano and singing lessons.
Rebecca studied at the University of Western Ontario, The Chautauqua Institute School of Singing, under tutors from leading American institutions, such as Juilliard, Curtis and the Metropolitan Opera. She earned a Master’s degree from the University of Toronto’s prestigious ‘Opera School.’
Rebecca is a mom to Ana Lucía, a charming 6-month-old baby, and enjoys a successful career in health and social development communications.
